Anita Briem has been an actor in Iceland for more than 20 years. Anita Briesm, a Icelandic performer, is best known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman that will eventually become the wife of Henry VIII) in the TV show The Tudors. Also for her role as Hannah in the 2008 film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem started her acting career as an actor at National Theater Iceland at 9 years old. Briem was an actress in Iceland as a kid. Briem relocated from Iceland to London at 16 years old and was a part of the stage production Lenin's Love. Briem graduated from his school, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art at 19 and was awarded the John Barton Prize and a Diploma in Drama. The actor was part of many productions during his time at RADA, such as The Cherry Garden directed by Anton Chekhov or Bernarda Alba's House, written by Federico Garcia Lorca.
